How to Permanently Delete Your Instagram Account

If you've decided to leave Instagram for good, here's how to permanently delete your account:

1. Access Your Instagram Settings:

  • Open the Instagram app on your device.
  • Tap on your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
  • Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner to access the menu.
  • Select "Settings."

2. Choose "Help":

  • Scroll down and tap on "Help."

3. Find "Request to Delete Your Account":

  • Search for "Request to Delete Your Account" using the search bar.

4. Follow the Instructions:

  • Click on the relevant option and follow the instructions provided. You may be asked to enter your password again to confirm.

Important Note:

  • Once you've requested to delete your account, you'll have a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate your account. After 30 days, your account will be permanently deleted.
  • Keep in mind that deleting your account is irreversible. You'll lose all your posts, followers, and data associated with your account.
