How to Deactivate Your Instagram Account

Want to take a break from Instagram? Here's how to temporarily deactivate your account:

1. Open the Instagram App: Launch the Instagram app on your device.
2. Tap the Profile Icon: This is usually located in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Access Menu: Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
4. Settings: Select "Settings" from the menu.
5. Account: Scroll down and tap "Account."
6. Deactivate Account: Choose "Deactivate Account."
7. Confirm Deactivation: You'll be asked to confirm your decision. Tap "Deactivate" again.

Note: Deactivating your account will temporarily hide your profile, posts, comments, and likes. However, your followers, likes, and comments will still be visible to others. If you want to permanently delete your account, you'll need to contact Instagram directly.
